The beautifully decorated Moorhen restaurant offers a fantastic view from the breakfast room window. the helpful staff even recommended the nearest train station with a taxi rank for easy transportation. there is another eating area within walking distance, which is a local pub that has excellent food.
The lack of staff and tired-looking receptionists can affect the overall service experience.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the high level of service. The staff were courteous, attentive, and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were immaculate and cheerfully furnished, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The hotel's location was perfect, situated away from the hustle and bustle while still being conveniently close to the New Year's Eve event I attended. Additionally, the breakfast served in the dedicated breakfast room was excellent, with a varied menu and the option of dining in different areas.
All aspects of my stay were exceptional.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and obliging, recommending the nearest train station with a taxi rank. The location in most areas was convenient, especially for attending a wedding nearby. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the parking was ample. The breakfast was delicious and the food in the Moorhen restaurant was exceptional. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and our room was quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom was clean, and we appreciated the good shower over bath performance with a plentiful supply of hot water.
Could not be improved in any way.

Location
Didn't like having to ring a mobile number to be let into the hotel. Didn't like having a cold room. Frayed towels. Terrible breakfast, instant coffee, white bread, warm milk with tea. We were the only two customers in a very large hotel.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations with its high spec and impeccable care. The staff were courteous, attentive, and friendly. The dining experience was relaxing, with various eating areas and a varied menu. The well-landscaped garden with a small lake and large terrace was the perfect place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink in peace. The breakfast served in the dedicated breakfast room was excellent.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic, nothing to be improved.

Rubbish....no kitchen working. Charged 13.99 for breakfast which they could not to. Where is my refund? No management at the hotel to issue a refund. So not stay at this place.

No Staff to check in or out Paid extra for breakfast included, Kitchens were shut I possibly due to food standards agency according to one member of staff and nothing provided or any staff around to ask about it. No Heating in room, 1 electric heater broken

I recently had a very good stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located on the outskirts of a charming town. The hotel staff were very helpful during my stay, providing me with recommendations for the nearest train station with a taxi rank. The rooms were well-equipped and had a beautiful view, and I appreciated the disabled facilities available. Additionally, the breakfast served at this hotel was delicious, although it could have been improved by being served on warmer plates.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were satisfactory.

I recently stayed at a hotel and found it to be a great experience. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with great views. The food was wonderful and there was plenty of variety. The staff were all friendly and accommodating making my stay even more enjoyable.
The room was quite small and I expected it to be a bit larger. , the soundproofing between rooms was not very good, and I could hear the guests in the next room quite clearly.
